Commercial Cleaning Associations

In this months blog post i thought it would be useful to consider some of the commercial cleaning associations. Most commercial cleaning specialities have their own dedicated professional associations and some have more than one. It important to check that any commercial cleaner you employ is a member of a professional association as this assures you that they have the proper training and equipment to get the job done in a safe manner.

British Institute of Cleaning Science

The British Institute of Cleaning Science is the largest professional body for the cleaning industry with over 10,000 members. Their mission is to raise standards across the cleaning industry by implementing professional training and standards across all companies working in the cleaning industry.

All members will display the BICS’c logo on their website and you should ask to see proof of their membership before engaging a company to perform commercial cleaning duties for you.
